First Race

Halfway through our Shooting Stars program, so we had a little race today.

I asked Kenzo why he woke up early today and I got..."Because I'm excited for my slalom race!"

All the kids did great and were all happy for the awards ceremony.

Then, a blast from the past earlier this week when I ran into Martin Sulser, the owner of Swiss Ski Sports. His shop was right underneath's dad's office in San Francisco and we used to shop there all the time! 

Then today, saw Glen & ML Hiersoux, a blast from the past from our Oakland/Skyline Ski Team days! Not totally unexpected, as they live here in Tahoe.

We finally got some snow - and at Mt. Rose, it was even better with their higher elevation.
