Happy Halloween!

After a bit of convincing, Kenzo got his whole costume on and we hit up the Boatworks Mall in Tahoe City.

It was awesome seeing everyone dressed up - some really good costumes and thought went into this fun day!

I made the chaps from a leather mini skirt from the thrift store and made the belt buckle too. Yep, sometimes I even impress myself!

The hat AND mustache stayed on all night - what a trooper! 

Walking around the stores, we ran into Camila & Fiona from daycare!

"More candy, please?"

Up until today, Kenzo thought that Craisins were "candy." That idea is long gone now.

So deliciously adorable, I must say.

I made a mini candy bag for Kenzo in attempt to control the amount of candy he collected! Turns out, he was happy with the seven pieces he got!

We met up with Super Grover Noah! 

The boys got a kick out of seeing each other dressed up!

These guys were having a blast together, even after spending the day together at daycare!

We had dinner at Jake's, which with four toddlers, was not terribly relaxing, but nice to visit with the other parents.

Portland Trip

Off to Portland for our annual fall visit!

Now that he's two, Kenzo got his own seat on the airplane. He thoroughly enjoyed the ride and amenities, not wanting to fall asleep until he got his apple juice from "the lady."

Straight from the airport to the Alvarez home to celebrate Naomi's 9th birthday with pizza and ice cream cake!

Headed out for dinner before Naomi's piano recital. She played beautifully and Kenzo cheered loudly after each student played their piece.

We had a fun visit, but it sure is nice to be home. Maybe Kenzo will even sleep in his own bed tonight!

First snow of the season

"Mommy....Sleep with you...Kenzo sleep with mommy daddy..." 

The beginning of being scared of the dark? Who knows, but it was a long, restless night for all of us.

We woke up to snow, so that was the silver lining.

After digging out our winter gear, we headed outside. Kenzo was SO excited to see and play in the snow!

To the coast

Yes, it's a gorgeous time of year in Tahoe, but we just had to get out of here!

First day of "vacation" at the Monterey Bay Aquarium! This place is so amazing with the enormous exhibits and location right on the bay.
