Last month was a whirlwind with the start of school, birthday celebrations, soccer & life in general.

A weekend away with Sam to celebrate our 30th class reunion!

Yes, I was completely star struck!

Great to reconnect with Sam and other friends from back in the day!

These folks make me felt young again, although partying for two days made me quickly remember that I'm not!!

Hurricane Kenzo

Hurricane season is upon us, but instead of high winds and rain, we have birthday parties!

Let's start with Tuesday:
Kenzo and Colton having pizza at Cody's birthday party!

Wednesday: First day of school!

Kenzo and Noah - excited for the first day of school on Noah's 6th birthday!

Kenzo, Colton & Noah - glad these buddies stayed together in this years' kindergarten class.

After school, Noah has his birthday party at the Treetop Adventure Course - what a blast for these kids!

Swinging ladders, bridges, other obstacles, and zip lines, all getting higher and higher with each course.

All geared up and ready for adventure!

Everyone did so well on the course!!

This is still Thursday!

I was a bit late to Noah's party, due to this.

Cake preparations for Kenzo's was slightly dangerous this year.

Friday: Happy 6th Birthday!

Kenzo woke up super pumped for this day, despite being 
EXHAUSTED! 

We had a fun group of ninjas over for the birthday party!

Yep, I gave swords to 6 year olds. Maybe not my best move, but you gotta live once!

We set up a ninja course in the backyard - not as thrilling as the adventure course the day before, but still a blast!

And the cake that nearly took my thumb!

I was happy they all sat to eat!

And they all made sure to gather for cake!

And the return of the ever popular doughnut game!

All this while the Murphy family stayed with us for a few days! Great to get the old friends back together!

Another party at friends' house last night - and that will wrap up the week of Hurricane Kenzo - phew!

We're almost at the end....

Dinner at Sunnyside!

I mean, I'm glad the nieces love my cooking, but I'm not running a B&B here!

This was "before" as we got swarmed by bees and had to finish dinner inside!

Gross.

They almost loved jumping off the boat more than getting dragged behind it!
