Skiing our way through March

Snowfest came and went - but at least Kenzo got to participate in the parade!

Tahoe Lake Elementary!
Another year of PSIA Women's Summit done!

Three days of clinics and apres ski events with women from all over the country.

Exhausting, but awesome work.
Skiing with Kathy from Canada!
Being part of this amazing coaching staff is inspiring and uplifting.

And exhausting. I'm not lying, this non-stop season has been great but I am pooped!

Bobo's PinkFest Tahoe at Mount Rose.

Another amazing event, with another incredible staff of coaches!
Dan dragged me and Fran around the mountain, including a hike up to the Palisades.

In constant preparation for...see below...

A bunch of us gathered at Alpine Meadows for a ski instructor's reunion. So great to catch up with everyone from back in the day!

Me and Anne Marie.
And then....

After a month of wiggles, Kenzo finally lost his first tooth!

Does it say something about our lifestyle that it came out while riding a chairlift?!

Stoked!!
All this skiing and working and clinic-taking and leading has lead me to a great end of the season.

I went through a 4 day course to become a Divisional Trainer for the PSIA-W and passed!

The highlight of the course was skiing with
G L E N   P L A K E - the bad boy of extreme skiing, himself! What a treat and honor to ski with this pioneer, who happens to be an extreme-ly fabulous person too.

A quick spring break visit from the Alvarez family!
Kenzo was so happy to be able to ski with his cousins again!
Cool rock photo session off the Solitude chair.

Between all that skiing, I helped throw a baby shower for Vivi and Kirk, both employees at Squaw.

The cake was so hideous, that it was actually comical.

Dan and his Asian fan club!
March also brought us to the end of Kenzo's Mighty Mite team season.

Coach Jess was great - happy, strict, goofy & energetic....the kids loved her and they all improved their skiing!

Ninjas Kenzo and Ryder ready for the last day's race.

My little ninja speedster!

Two runs and the ruts were getting big!
This is their "chute" that they liked to "shoot!"
4th place finish and all smiles - what a great season!

Thank you, Coach Jess!
