Spring has Sprung

Last day of Shooting Stars for the season!

The kids all did great, but it's more than time to hang up the skis for the season...look at the mountain behind Kenzo! What a sad, dry year for us...

Costume day, awards, big air contest, and a party - whoo hoo!

Fun obstacle course with a big jump!

Hella cute!

Right after skiing, Kenzo and I headed down to...

1) Pick up Kara in Sacramento and

2) Head to Oakland!

Breakfast with Tak.
Met up with Henry, Naomi & Maya in J-Town.
Yes, more eating.

He ate it all.

That's the "Tsuruta" in him!

If One Direction needs a replacement band member...
Sibs.
Japanese Garden in Golden Gate Park.

"Full Moon Bridge"

Coolest branches.
Coolest Uncle and his followers.
What a tranquil space.

We made our way back up the hill, with some stops for shopping and food, and shopping for food.

Kenzo and his oishi onigiri from Oto's.

A few pics from K & T...

Chow time!
J-Town restaurant row.
The sun popped out at last!

St. Patrick's Day....really?

A trip to Trader Joe's made me realize that St. Patrick's Day is now something we have to celebrate?!

Okay.

Face painting at TJ's.
Cody over for a playdate after their day at TCNS.

Cute buddies.
Leprechauns came and TP'd our house!

Kenzo had a great time searching for gold and leprechauns while at ski team too.

We made a trip to the Truckee Humane Society to donate some dog food.

Then we got to play with some of the sweet cats that are up for adoption.

Even though these cats have a very nice spot at this fancy new building, it was heartbreaking to leave without one.

We'll be back soon...maybe for a dog before a cat.

No offense, cats.

Finished the day at a great St. Patrick's Day party, complete with a permanently installed beer tap of Guinness in their kitchen - nice!

We may have to build a trophy case

Happy birthday, Jessica!

And happy race day for the Shooting Stars!

Our little racer. What a HUGE improvement from just one month ago.
Thanks in large to the Jackson Hole ski school - haha, see what spending a ton of $ does?!

Gabriel, Kenzo, and Noah.

Kenzo getting his medal from coach Kimberly.

Proud of his fast race.

"I want to race all the time!"

Snack break during the ski session.
After skiing, we were invited to Gabby's 5th birthday party at LeChamois!

Pinata time - crushing it!

The whole ski team and lots of friends from TCNS were there!

Noah and Kenzo climbing on the tram wheel.
I had just finished up coaching a 3-day women's event, so I was pooped!

This was our last clinic of the event, and yes, it was RAINING!

A great turnout, wonderful participants, and a fortunate opportunity to share, collaborate, and educate - so much fun!
